Collen, one of Ireland’s longest-running family-owned construction companies, has announced the appointment of Mark McGreevy as its new Chief Executive Officer. He will officially assume the role on 5 January 2026.

Founded in 1810 and now in its eighth generation of family ownership, Collen has grown into one of Ireland’s top three building contractors. The Dublin-based firm delivers large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, serving multinational corporations, private clients, and public-sector bodies. The company is forecasting revenues of more than €1.5 billion, supported by its consistent ability to deliver complex projects on schedule and within budget.

McGreevy has been a Non-Executive Director on Collen’s Board since 2024. He brings more than 30 years of experience across several sectors, including senior leadership roles at the Sisk Group. He also contributed to the expansion of specialist construction businesses such as Vision Built and Sensori.

According to Collen’s Board Chair, Neil Collen, the new CEO’s industry background and alignment with the company’s values make him well positioned to guide the next phase of growth. The business emphasises sustainable expansion, people-focused leadership, and long-term value creation, priorities that McGreevy is expected to continue advancing.

Reflecting on his appointment, McGreevy said he looks forward to working with Collen’s teams and shareholders to build on the company’s long-established foundations.
