NECTO Selection are searching for a talented Site Engineer for a unique water infrastructure project in Cork. Our client is an award-winning, Construction, Civil Engineering, and Development company. Our client prides themselves on impeccable standards and thus in return it yields high return of repeat business from many of its clients.
The role
- Reading, interpreting and providing clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements etc.
- Setting out, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site
- Ensuring programme deadlines are met
- Working closely with your team to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to
- Consistently developing your knowledge of the industry, whilst communicating and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant staff
- Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies and procedures
- Undertake any other necessary duties
About You
- You must be able to use your own initiative, be accountable, and take responsibility for a project from start to finish
- You must be goal-orientated, meet numerous deadlines, instilling motivation in the team to hit key targets
Experience required
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a similar qualification with 5+ years relevant experience
- Experience in engineering within water or the utilities sector is essential
- Proficient numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
- A full driving licence with access to transport
